Right Brain vs. Left Brain



Just now my sister told me something I really disagree in. It contradicts with the knowledge that I know. Somehow, she says her friend's information is correct. So, I decided to do some research on this matter.

She says her friend tell her that if you clasp your hand together and the right thumb is uppermost, it indicates that you use your left brain more. And this is what I got after Google-ing for some time:-

"Here’s an easy test to check if you are predominantly right or left-brain. Clasp your hand together and check out which thumb is uppermost. Left-brainers will keep their left thumb up and right-brainers will keep their right."

Fyi, I'm pretty curious about stuff like this but I'm sure that my dominant brain is right!

Btw, you can go to Google and there are many more you will discover. Another test her is the optical test. Watch the video below. Is the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?

The First Post in 2011!

Ya. I know. Lazy me. Haih.

Two more weeks I'll be leaving UTAR for good! (unless unfortunate case happen...*touch wood*) 4 years passed by so fast and I grew smarter and wiser throughout the years. Btw, I'm now searching high and low for jobs that suits me and manage to secure two interviews! Yay! OK..I like one of the interview much more than the other one and I hope I get it!

Since we're going to graduate, lecturers and tutors are recommending that join MNC (Multi National Companies). The problem is, MNC often look at your grades and not your overall talent and quality (which pretty sucks for me as I love the nature of my job to love me for my talent and skills!).

Also, U5 taught me this very special skill in applying for jobs! Not going to reveal here so ask me if you want to know! :) The companies I applied for are SME (Small Medium Enterprises) which appreciate people like me! And you have the chance to show how capable you are if you're joining SME instead of MNC.

Anyhow, I'm pretty nervous about the interviews (one is the 2nd interview in which I need to do a presentation). Do wish me luck peeps!

The Last Day of 2010 & Happy 2011.

It'd been almost 2 months since my last update. Sorry people!

Today is the 31st December 2010, the last day of year 2010. Can't believe time flies! Tomorrow will be a brand new year.

Here's a recap for my awesome 2010. Uhmm...my 2010 goes quite well except for some glitches and problems. Health wise...very good! No visit to the doctors and I'm able to donate blood...TWICE! In my Love life, I'm still with my guy...for 5 freaking years! Congrats to us... :)

Oh, we managed to get a vacation to Terengganu and Kelantan, which I labeled as "awesome". LOL. Other than that, Finance wise...got output, no input...which is pretty saddening...

However, I'd make my 2011 resolutions.

1) Lose 4kg from my overall weight.
I get comments that I've been getting chubbier from time to time. My weight rose 5kg since I entered Foundation. So, to achieve my goal, no supper, eat smaller portion.

2) Get to make my 1st time oversea travel (Thailand also counted).
I will be 24 next year and I've never been oversea. The closest I'd been is the checkpoint at the Thailand border. So, if possible, I want to go Thailand/Taiwan next year. :)

3) Get a job I love. ♥
No description for this as I'm still hunting for that job.

4) Have a clear and fair skin.
Had been having bad skin (face) since 12. So, I'm going to make more effort for this goal.

5) Learn make-up and grooming.
I've always interested in this field. Had made some inquires about these courses and will enroll in one of them next year. :)
6) Be more patient.

7) Learn to drive...again.
I have a driving licence but pretty much a useless one since my parents do not let me touch the family car. Parents have no confidence in my driving skill (they say it sucks)! If I want to drive I need to get my own car...pathetic! >.<

Twins?

There're a few times we (5 & I) bumped into a girl who we though was our friend in UTAR (but it isn't). We could swear that this girl have 95% similarity to our friend. Here's a photo of our friend, Tiffany.

Oh, and the girl and Tiffany had almost the same height (plus minus 2cm) and similar voice!

What a coincident!
