Hair Accessories & Cute Stuff from Watsons.

Let's start with a picture of me. I love this pic. :)

Camera, Mirror & I.

I've been mentioning about the hair accessories which I bought at Mid Valley. Nice stuff. Here's the pictures of the accessories.

My new hair accessories. :)

The satin rose hair band. Had been seeking it for ages. This is love. :)

Hair clip for my curls. The first one is newly bought.

Knitted flower hair clip. :)

Mini hair clip. Good quality.

Hair bands from Black Queen.

The other day, I went to Watsons to buy eyeliner and mascara. And while at the counter, saw these cute phone straps on sale. :) Buy RM20 and you can purchase each with RM2.80. There's 4 to collect. And I bought all 4. :)

Minnie & Mickey!

Stitch & Pooh!

I know it's a lame post. And I feel like posing it cause the pictures looks nice. :) Anyway, it's the end of January 2010. Looking forward to February. Good night people. :)

Aidan & Amy's Wedding Dinner (23 January 2009).

It'd been a week since I've updated my blog. It's been a busy week for me. Well, I attended 5's cousin's wedding last week at Equatorial Hotel. Nice wedding dinner with no uncles singing on stage, purely English songs playing on air. Probably the first Chinese wedding dinner with no Chinese songs played I attend.

Went to KL with 5's family by bus in the morning. That's why didn't get to go to the morning ceremony. Anyway, back to the dinner, there's cocktail an hour before the dinner. Get to talk around with some people there and had 4 glasses of orange juice.

Dinner is at 7.30 p.m. I'm at the same table with 5 and some of his cousins. Ambiance at the restaurant is good with the theme of cream and pink.

Nice ceiling lamp.

Table deco.

Here's some photos with the attendees.

With Caroline.

With the flower girl.

With Esther.

Comes to the food, it's not bad actually. Ate all the dishes except the prawns. Here's some of the food photos.

Oh, forgot to mention this. There a box containing 2 pieces of chocolates. Quite delicious I would say. A nice food to start the dinner. :)

Nice choc!

Didn't took much photos that day cause there's a bunch of professional photographers there so might just wait for their photos. Hehe.

After dinner, we waited for awhile at the restaurant to settle the bills etc and I came across this room which is quite nice.

After that, we leave the restaurant and went to the groom's house to had a little chit chat. Went back to 5's cousin's home to rest at 2 a.m.

A tiring night but it was a happy night. :)

Home Sweet Home.

Going back to Teluk Intan after "disappearing" for a month. Dad and Mum were so happy to see us. All their kids are back at home. :) It's approaching Chinese New Year and I suggest to Mum to do a round of "kuih kapit" (love letters) since I'll be "missing" again tomorrow. FYI, my mum make kuih kapit for sale and for gifts to relatives.

Bro starting the fire.

Sis take over from bro.

Sis preparing the mixture.

Me folding the kuih kapit.

Mum, the main chef.

We need to help mum fold the kuih kapit because she's busy with cooking the kuih. And it must be fold while hot. That's why I'm wearing gloves while doing this.

Later in the evening, 5 came over to my house to hand me the hair dryer diffuser and to cut his hair. The barber shop is just behind my house.

Cut was RM 5 only. Cheap and nice. After that, 5 went back to his home as he had dinner with his family. I also had dinner with my family as we want to celebrate Dad's birthday earlier. Had dinner at our favourite restaurant. Ordered Dad's favourite dish and a few other dishes.

Sizzling tofu.

Claypot "I-don't-know-what-it's-called".

Sour and Spicy Fish Head.

Salted Egg fried Chicken.

Marmite Chicken.

Dinner was great. Everyone was happy. :) Went back home after dinner and I promised to go out with 5, T. Hoe and Y. Ru. We went to cinema and watched Legion. Lame movie with lame storyline. Bad ending. Lol.

Legion.

After movie, went to buy Chee Cheong Fun for T. Hoe. Then passed by the newly renovated The Store. There's Georgetown White Coffee there. It's already 11.30 p.m. and the shop was about to closed. So, we just used the toilet there. Hehe.

Newly renovated The Store.

Since cannot yamcha there, we headed home. Need to rest as tomorrow I'll be attending 5's cousin wedding in KL. It's another happy day of mine. How about yours? :)

HSBC YEA Business Plan Writing Skills Workshop.

Attended this workshop organised by HSBC at Center of Extension Education (CEE) UTAR Petaling Jaya.

Should be arriving at 8.30 a.m. but we arrived at 9.05 a.m. due to traffic jam. Upon arrival, we're require to sign our attendance and were given a file containing notes and a container with sweets.

Workshop was relatively boring (to me). Can be summarized as attending lectures from Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting and English for Business in 4 hours. Some participants dozed off and I know why they gave us sweets in the first place; they know we would fall asleep. :D

Some participants with the facilitator.

Workshop ended at 1 p.m. we get an attendance certificate. We're suppose to board UTAR bus back to Kampar at 6.30 p.m. which means we had 5.5 hours to spend. We decide to go Old Town to surf net and do some work (we had our laptop with us). It's quite boring sitting there as the atmosphere there is noisy and uncomfortable.

5 playing Red Alert 3.

Bus started its journey back to Kampar 6.30 p.m. sharp. Reached Kampar at 9.30 p.m. Ask a friend to fetch us and we had dinner together. Dine for an hour and headed home. Take a bath and then, dozed off. I'm so tired that day. Nevertheless. another experience I had in my life. :)

Sunday Dim Sum and Durians! :)

Went for a dim sum session at 12 p.m. at Concorde Hotel. We're invited by 5's aunt, Karen who came back for a visit from Germany. All 5's relatives (paternal side) who's living in KL were all present there. Well, some sort like I'm meeting his extended family members. 5 and I were seated with some of Aunt Karen's friends. It actually feel quite awkward as we do not know who they are. Gradually, we warmed up with them and a blast, chatting and giggling throughout the session. :)

Dim sum at Concorde are awesome! Prices for dim sum is reasonable as on average every table (there are 4 tables) costs around RM250. And it comes with free dessert (either red bean soup or sea coconut). :D

Didn't took much photos as I said earlier, I'm too busy talking! Haha...Well, glad to know some new friends there too. :) Dim sum session ended at 2.30 p.m. And I don't even realised that everyone was ready to go home. Too "concentrated" talking. Haha.

Well, that night after dinner, we had some durians. RM10 for a few small sized durians. The flesh were OK. Acceptable. And I learned that if you use "durian water" to wash your hand, the smell of durian will vanished. And it true. :) Another thing I learned is use the durian husk to drink salt water. It'll helps eliminate heat from body. :)

Durians!

p/s: Just woke up from sleep. It'd been a tiring day yesterday. Will blog about the HSBC Business Plan Workshop soon! :)
