Ehem...my 23rd birthday was 2 weeks ago and actually there's nothing special happened anyway. A week before my birthday, 5 and I went to Ipoh to celebrate it. A day before my birthday, the whole family went to our favourite restaurant for dinner. On my actual birthday, I had dinner with 5, Teoh, Chua and Ching Yi at my favourite claypot chicken rice shop.
This year's birthday is different. No birthday cake (I requested my mum don't buy it), no birthday song (my sibling make 1 funny song with the birthday music so it doesn't count), no presents but I got 2 really nice cards. :) One is from 5 and another 1 is from Chua and Ching Yi. :) 5 gave me the card which he can record his voice and Chua and Ching Yi gave a card which they handmade. So sweet. :)
And there's much to blog about but I'll save it for next time. Currently, I got so much works to do. :)
Oh ya, it's the National Day today. Happy Birthday Malaysia! :)

Glee Season 1.

I'd just finished watching Glee Season 1. Tell you what...IT'S AN AMAZING DRAMA! It's not just entertaining but you get to know how to be a good manager in managing a team. Also, various social issues (especially teens) are raised in the drama. And one unique things that I like about the drama is they have casts from various ethnicity and they openly discuss races. Though, some may get offended by the dialogs in the drama.
There are a total of 22 episodes in the series and two of them are dedicated to Madonna and Lady Gaga. And most of the casts (in fact all) sings and some dances.

Among all the casts, I personally like Rachel's voice. It's so soulful and my favourite character would be Kurt (Kurt is a fashion savvy gay teen). And the 2.d Season will be out next month! Heard that Britney Spears will make an appearance in one of the episodes. :)
p/s: I'm currently working on my FYP. :)

I'm back!
All assignments and presentations for this semester are all over! Yay for that but I do not have much time to rest as I need to prepare to start my Final Year Project (FYP). Viva presentation will going to be on 7th / 8th week of next semester and due date for the FYP would be the 7th week of the next two semester.
Seriously, so much had happened and I wouldn't want to talk about it here and all I can say is it's a decision made for the benefit of all.
And I encounter so many peers with problems centering on their assignment mates. And all I can say is you guys need to make a decision - even it's nasty because it's your life and you take control of take. Seriously, many are too dependent on others and this will kill them in the future.
And for those who want to be Mr./Ms. Kind Hearted, please be remind that you yourself who can make you happy. And if you're helping someone but you don't feel happy inside, that means you're hurting yourself. Helping others means making yourself happy and making others happy.
OK. Enough of emotion pourout here. I need to sort out the photos for the next post. So, stay tune!

Baking Project 3 : Chocolate Chip Cookies.
Last weekend, I made the chocolate chip cookies...again! And this time I eliminate the walnut from the recipe because it taste not so good. I want to substitute it with hazelnut but can't find it at Giant and local bakery store.
I got the recipe from a website (which I forgot the web address) and it makes around 3 dozens ++ as I make extra large cookies just to save baking time. Hehe. I make some adjustments to the method of cooking cause if I follow the original one the results are either burnt or stick to the pan. And this happened to the first time baking them. the cookies stuck to the pan even I'd greased them and end up using butter knife to srap them off the pan. And little sis like it so much that she took a plastic bag and stuffed all the crumbs into it...all for herself.
Anyway, you guys should try to do it too cause IT IS VERY VERY NICE AND TASTY AND EASY TO BAKE! Here's the recipe (modified one) :

Ingredients
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour (a.k.a superfine flour)
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons hot water
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips (Hershey's - can get from Giant RM15/packet)
1 cup chopped hazelnut (optional)
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (200 degrees C).
2. Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Dissolve baking soda in hot water. Add to batter along with salt. Stir in flour, chocolate chips, and nuts. Drop by large spoonfuls onto aluminium foils.
3. Bake for about 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are nicely browned.
Right after you took it from the oven, you need to cooled it on the rack first cause it's really soft. But I scrap it with a butter knife and put it in large plate cause I only have one pan (in which I put aluminium foil on it).

And my cookies are all gone within 2 days and I only got to eat 2 of them. And I was thinking if I made it for sale would anyone want to buy?
