Yup! I'm back from my Malacca trip yesterday. Overall, great trip indeed. Get to meet up with W.Kuun and Y. Lee along with their girlfriends.
Day 1Reached Malacca from Teluk Intan at 1 p.m. W. Kuun and Grace were waiting for us at the bus terminal. Coincidentally, Y. Lee and C. Mei arrived at the same time from Johor Bahru. :)
First, we check in to the hotel. Though it's a budget hotel, it's room and service are good and we had free buffet breakfast for the 2 mornings.
Our hotel. After that, we went for late lunch at the famous chicken rice ball shop.
Chicken Rice Balls with side dishes. After lunch, went to tourist attraction areas like A Famosa and Red Fort. It was a relaxing evening as we stroll along the area and watched sun set. :) Pictures below were favourite shoot of mine.

At night, we went to the famous Jonker Street. Basically, it's a night market which stretched for about 1 km. There's a lot of stuff on sale like shirts, souvenirs and food. Jonker Street is famous for its food too. And they are selling fast too!
Jonker Street.Didn't take any photos at Jonker Street because I'm busy awing and looking at stuff. Also, there's 2 row of shops selling stuffs too. Want to find shops selling Nyonya kebaya but all of the shop already closed. :(
Day 2Our plan is to go to the A Famosa Water World. Everyone woke up at 7.30 a.m. to have breakfast. Then, we start our journey to there by W. Kuun's car. It took around 1 hour to reach there from the hotel. Didn't took any photos as we're playing in the water and I don't want to spoil my camera. Spend around 3 hours playing there as there aren't many extreme water activity there.
After packing, we went back to the hotel to have a short break. Then we went to Dataran Pahlawan and Mahkota Parade to walk around before heading to Sibaraku Teppanyaki Restaurant at Mahkota Parade, Food was good. Serice was good. And all the cooks are handsome! Price is reasonable too. Dine there for around 2 hours before heading to the cinema at Dataran Pahlawan. Dataran Pahlawan and Mahkota Parade are situated opposite of each other.
5 and I watched Avatar while the others watched Zombieland. I won't say Avatar is a great movie though. Storyline is normal. Great graphics and imagination. A it lengthy in my opinion. According to the other 4 persons, Zombieland sucks. They say, "Don't watch it!".
After movie, it's already 12.30 midnight. Somehow, we haven't got to taste the famous satay celup. So, we went for satay celup. In my opinion. satay celup is best eaten with white fluffy bread as you can taste the flavour of the satay sauce.
Malacca's most famous satay celup shop.
The satay sauce.
Day 3Woke up at 9 a.m. to have breakfast. Body was aching as an effect of running, playing and screaming too much. Haha. After breakfast, we went back to the room to pack our stuff and check out. After that, went to the jetty. It's located next to Holiday Inn. It's a nice place. We went to a restaurant and sat there for a hour while sipping delicious chocolate shake.
Then, we went for Nyonya cuisine at a restaurant. The otak-otak, steamed fish and seaweed soup are delicious! The fish was steamed with salted vegetable and the seaweed soup have a lot of additional ingredients in it. Sambal kangkong was so-so and the cendol was delicous! Full of coconut milk flavour! Yum!
Our Nyonya dishes.

After lunch, we headed to the bus terminal as we need to catch our bus to Kuala Lumpur. It was a fun and memorable trip. Will try to organise this type of trip more often in the future.
p/s: I'd just come back from Wildlife park and Night safari in Sunway. Nice trip. Will blog about it tomorrow. Shall rest now. Good night! :)
